Im working with a great business in Bispham who are looking to bring in an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller and play a key part in the finance function.
This is a hands-on role with real exposure across the business.
What youll be doing:
Supporting monthly management accounts for multiple entities
Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations
Budgeting and forecasting support
Variance analysis and reporting
Monitoring income, costs and margins
Supporting audits and year-end
Cashflow reporting
VAT and regulatory returns
Working closely with other departments
Youll also get exposure to team oversight and step in when needed.
What theyre looking for:
AAT qualified (or equivalent)
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups etc)
Good understanding of accounting principles
Organised, proactive and able to work to deadlines
Experience with month end close
