Job Description

International Bank based in London, are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager - Investment Operations to join their Operations Team, on a 6 month FTC.


The Investment Operations functions that will need to be covered include but are not limited to:


  • Portfolio Establishment and all maintenance thereafter
  • Security set up
  • Security Valuation including valuation of all London held securities
  • Rebate receipts and processing
  • Trade allocations
  • Market Settlements
  • Contract Notes
  • Client reporting
  • Asset servicing (all applicable corporate actions)
  • Custody and Cash reconciliations
  • MI preparation including CMAR preparation and validation
  • Pricing checks and monitoring
  • Regulatory transaction reporting requirements – MiFID
  • Client account fees processing
  • Custody vendor invoice processing


To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills;


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant Operations role is essential.
  • Asset Servicing experience in processing of Corporate Actions (Optional and Mandatory events) and Income Processing
  • Good understanding of front to back operational processes and regulatory requirements around performing these tasks (COBS, COLL, SYSC and CASS).
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of the FCA CASS rules relating to operational processes.
  • Ability to take on projects to improve processes, move of activity to other location, implementing new processes appropriately.
  • Sound knowledge of financial products life cycle
  • Further experience in Banking Operations would be preferable
