OverviewAssistant Manager, Pensions Actuarial ConsultantWe’re growing and want you to be a part of our journey. We’re looking for experienced actuarial students with relevant UK DB Pensions industry experience to join our Actuarial & Consulting team (over 400 pensions experts advising clients across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors).Role and responsibilitiesDeliver UK DB Pensions advice to clients, including managing key client projects directly or supporting partners and directors to deliver to clients.Engage in the technical aspects of projects, build relationships with clients, work as part of a team and help develop others.Assist in the development of new business with existing and new clients.Lead the advancement of typical projects as Assistant Manager while supporting junior colleagues within the team.Perform actuarial valuations and calculations for Trustees and advise on scheme governance.Develop pensions strategies for corporate, public and not-for-profit organisations.Write and deliver communications projects for members.Provide insurance transaction and scheme consolidation advice.Undertake data projects such as benefit rectifications, pensions dashboards and GMP equalisation.Location and work styleLocations: Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Reading. We operate on a hybrid basis, with a mix of office and home working.Key skills and experienceWe welcome a diverse range of experience and will consider each application on its own merits.
