Assistant Manager – Daytime Hours Only (7am–3pm or 8am–4pm) High-Volume QSR | Major UK Retailer Location We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager or a Supervisor (step up) to support the day-to-day operation of a busy Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) located within a major UK retail environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced hospitality setting but wants structured daytime hours only – no late evenings or night shifts BUT must be fleaxible to work weekends if needed. Pay & Benefits £14.21 – £14.71 per hour (DOE) based on 40 hours
Quarterly performance bonus – typically around £300 based on KPI/Sales/Company Culture
Daytime hours only: 7:00–15:00 or 8:00–16:00 (Flexible to work weekends)

The Role As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Multi Site Manager to ensure smooth daily operations of FOH & BOH while leading and motivating the team of 3 or 4 during busy trading periods. You will help deliver excellent customer service, maintain operational standards, and ensure the site performs efficiently during high footfall trading hours. This role is very much about people and culture . We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team-driven environment , can support and develop colleagues, and helps create a positive workplace where everyone pulls together during busy service periods. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day management of a high-volume QSR operation
Lead shifts and supervise team members during peak service periods
Ensure excellent customer service standards are delivered consistently
Manage opening procedures and daytime trading
Monitor food quality, hygiene, and brand standards
Support stock control, ordering, and waste management
Train and develop team members
Assist the Multi Site Manager with performance targets and operational efficiency
About You We're looking for someone who: Has supervisory or management experience in QSR, fast food, or high-volume hospitality
Is a natural leader who enjoys motivating and supporting a team
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently multitask
Is able to stay present, think on their feet, and make quick decisions during busy service
Has strong organisation and problem-solving skills
Understands food safety, compliance, and operational standards
