Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 , Highways Act 1980 , and Traffic Management Act 2004 . Coordinate highway works to maintain traffic flow and minimise disruption across the borough. Manage and inspect works on the Highway Network, ensuring legal and operational standards are met. Liaise with internal departments and external work promoters to reduce disruption and improve collaboration across Harrow and neighbouring authorities.
