Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Outlet Manager role
Supervises the day to day functioning of all restaurant employees, facilities, sales and costs.
Supervises, co-ordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages in the restaurant.
Establishes and maintains effective employee relationships
Conducts, under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager, such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, on the job performance, coaching, counseling and suspension if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
Conducts pre-shift briefings and maintains liaison with The Head Chef.
Participates in service as necessary in accordance with the requirements and practices of the restaurant.
Ensures restaurant grooming and appearance standards are met at all times.
Assists in administration work as required by the Restaurant Manager
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Sets up and carries out training of all staff at all levels, under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager.

Highly organised and confident in a fast-paced setting, you balance hands-on service with strong operational oversight. With a guest-first mindset, you ensure every interaction reflects the outlets standards. Your leadership style is supportive and consistent, enabling you to guide, motivate, and develop your team while maintaining high levels of quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.
