Assistant Project / Contracts Manager - Joinery

Fit Out UK is looking for an Assistant Joinery Contracts / Project Manager to support the senior management team with the delivery of joinery and retail fit-out projects across the UK.
This hybrid/remote role is ideal for someone with good project coordination experience who is looking to develop their career in joinery and shopfitting. You will assist with managing projects from order through to handover, while working closely with our in-house manufacturing team and site crews. Regular visits to our Doncaster head office and project sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of joinery and retail fit-out projects from order to installation and handover
* Assist with coordinating between in-house joinery manufacturing and site installation teams
* Help manage project programmes, budgets, quality, and health & safety
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, designers, and suppliers
* Attend site meetings and progress reviews as required
* Support the control of variations, reporting, and project documentation
* Help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Required Experience & Skills
* Previous experience in a project coordination or contracts support role within joinery, shopfitting, or commercial fit-out
* Good understanding of bespoke joinery and retail fit-out processes
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
* Background in retail rollouts or fast-track projects
* Experience working in a joinery manufacturing environment
* SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid qualifications
* Time-served joiner or carpenter background
