Job Description

Job Title: Landlord Representative / Project Manager

Location: London

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Package

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Landlord Representative / Project Manager to join a specialist project management team working on some of London’s most high-profile commercial and retail developments. The role focuses on representing landlord interests during tenant fit-outs within shell and core retail and office spaces.

You will act as the key link between landlords, tenants, and the wider professional team, ensuring tenant works are delivered in line with landlord requirements and building standards. This position differs from traditional construction project management, with a greater focus on coordination, communication, and ensuring compliance throughout the tenant fit-out process.

You will have the opportunity to work on major office, mixed-use and retail developments across London, supporting the delivery of space for leading blue-chip occupiers and well-known retail brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent landlord interests during tenant fit-outs within shell and core office and retail spaces.
  • Act as the main point of contact between landlords, incoming tenants, and the wider project team.
  • Manage the process from initial tenant briefing through to occupation and final handover.
  • Review tenant design proposals and ensure compliance with landlord guidelines and building requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants including structural engineers, technical specialists, and legal teams.
  • Manage both pre-agreed and post-agreement tenant changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide advice to landlords on best practice and risk management during the tenant delivery process.
  • Monitor progress to ensure works are completed in line with programme and landlord requirements.

About You

  • Experience within property, real estate, or the built environment, ideally involving retail delivery or office fit-outs.
  • Understanding of buildings and the fit-out process.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with evolving project information and navigating ambiguity.
  • Experience working on multi-tenanted buildings is beneficial but not essential.
  • A construction or engineering degree is not essential, but an understanding of property projects is important.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary up to £40,000 plus package
  • Opportunity to work on landmark office and mixed-use developments across London
  • Exposure to projects involving leading landlords, developers, and blue-chip occupiers
  • A collaborative team environment with strong industry expertise
  • Excellent opportunity to develop within a specialist area of project management
