We are supporting a rapidly growing residential developer with an extensive pipeline of high-value projects across the North West and the wider UK. The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments, supported by ambitious regional expansion plans and a collaborative, supportive delivery team.
As part of this growth, the company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of £20m+ residential projects, offering hands-on experience in developer-side project management. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a relevant degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Construction who is keen to develop their career within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
The ideal candidate is organised, ambitious, and proactive, comfortable on site, and willing to travel to project locations across the Northwest and wider UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the project management team in the delivery of residential developments from pre- to post-contract.
Support site walk rounds, monthly progress meetings, and stakeholder coordination.
Help maintain project schedules, cost monitoring and risk management.
Ensure projects adhere to quality, safety, and programme standards.
Support the team in managing contractors, consultants, and client communications.
Assist in resolving on-site issues and implementing project actions.
Take increasing responsibility for smaller workstreams and contribute to project delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
Relevant degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction or similar.
Exposure to pre- and post-contract project management.
Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid driving UK license and access to a car; happy to travel to project sites across the Northwest and wider UK.
Ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop project management skills in a developer-side environment.
