KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors.\n\nJob Title: Assistant Quality Manager / IQA\n\nLocation: Hemel Hempstead - Must be flexible with travel as required \n\nSalary: up to £35,000 (Depending on experience)\n\nPackage: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + Much More!\n\nType: Full Time, Permanent\n\nDuties:\nResponsible for driving forward the education centres quality, performance and improvements across teaching and learning, assessment and behaviours, for their Vocational, PSD and Functional Skills provisions. \nTo manage a team of SEN/Reading Specialists; ensuring that they fulfil all relevant duties to the highest standard.\nResponsible for maintaining the quality toolkit to ensure it remains up to date and information is reported and shared.\nBe an advocate for our client's values and procedures across all areas of teaching and learning.\nSupport and coach teaching staff towards improving and developing teaching practice - ensuring action plans for teaching and learning are achieved\nCoordinate and deliver CPD \nMonitor and coordinate IQA/EQA schedule\nDeliver induction training to new starters within the teaching department.\nCarry out thorough reviews throughout the year following observations, self-assessments, identified trends and feedback etc Essential Criteria:\nUp to date knowledge of relevant quality measures for Functional Skills.\nMust hold a recognised Teaching qualification (QTLS), Assessor Award or Verifier Award.\nFull, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.\nAbility to inspire, lead and motivate teaching staff and learners.\nMust be flexible with travel if required.
