Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Construction

We are working with a growing Quantity Surveying consultancy based in Swinton, Greater Manchester, who are looking to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing projects.

This role would suit a graduate, junior, assistant QS or developing QS, or someone with basic construction pricing or estimating experience who is keen to learn and progress.

The role will involve:

Assisting with pricing and cost control

*

Supporting dry lining and electrical packages

*

Helping with subcontractor pricing and tendering

*

General QS support duties

What we’re looking for:

*

An interest in Quantity Surveying or construction costs

*

Any experience in QS, estimating, or construction (helpful but not essential)

*

Good attitude, organisation, and willingness to learn

The role offers:

Hybrid working (office in Swinton + home working)

Training and support from an experienced QS

Trial period with salary reviewed based on performance

Applicants must be able to travel to the Swinton office a few days per week
