Your new role: Our client is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a background or strong interest in groundworks and residential infrastructure to join their commercial team. This role will support Senior Quantity Surveyors in managing the financial aspects of multiple housing developments, offering hands-on exposure and a clear pathway for progression.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the commercial management of groundworks and housing infrastructure projects Supporting the preparation of interim valuations, variations, and final accounts Assisting with subcontractor procurement, administration, and payment processes Monitoring project costs and supporting with budget tracking and reporting Helping to identify commercial risks and opportunities on live projects Liaising with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication Assisting in the preparation of cost repo...
