Assistant Quantity Surveyor\n\nMain Contractor | Central London\n\nA well-established and highly respected London-based main contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of prestigious construction projects across Central London.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for delivering technically challenging and design-led schemes, offering strong professional development and long-term career progression within a stable commercial team.\n\nThe Role\n\nWorking closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:\n\nAssisting with cost management across live construction projects\n\t\nPreparation of valuations, cost reports and final accounts\n\t\nSupporting procurement of subcontractors and suppliers\n\t\nAssisting with tender analysis and subcontract package management\n\t\nMonitoring variations, change control and cost forecasting\n\t\nLiaising with site teams, consultants and subcontractors\n\t\nEnsuring commercial procedures are followed accurately\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline\n\t\nExperience working with a main contractor on UK construction projects ()\n\t\nStrong numerical, organisational and communication skills\n\t\nKeen to develop a long-term career in construction commercial management\n\t\nProactive, detail-focused and capable of working within a collaborative team\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nExposure to high-quality construction projects in Central London\n\t\nA structured environment with strong mentorship and career development\n\t\nCompetitive salary package with benefits\n\t\nLong-term progression within a respected contractor\n\nLocation\n\nCentral London (site-based with head office support)
