Job Description

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – £35,000 to £50,000\n\nOur client, established over 20 years ago, has grown into a leading specialist in structural alterations, operating across London and the South East. They deliver a wide range of projects including groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete (RC) works, blockwork, steelwork, temporary works, diamond drilling, demolition, and strip-outs. They are currently recruitning for the position of Assistant Quantity Surveyor\n\nThe Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be given is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement through to final accounts.\n\nThe successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in supporting the commercial function and will be confident in managing day-to-day commercial activities on live projects.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\n * The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will ideally have experience within the London construction market\n\n * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role\n\n * Previous experience working for a subcontractor\n\n * A formal Quantity Surveying qualification\n\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n\n * Good commercial awareness and technical understanding\n\n * The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will live within commuting distance of Central London\n\nThe Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be Offered:\n\n * Salary of £35,000 to £50,000\n\n * Clear career progression opportunities\n\n * Exposure to a wide variety of projects and disciplines\n\n * Supportive and positive working environment\n\n * Opportunity to develop new skills as the business continues to grow\n\nWith plans to double turnover over the next three years, this is an exciting time to join the business, offering genuine long-term career development within the Quantity Surveying team
