Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Wigan - Leading Utilities Contractor
We’re working with a leading utilities contractor turning over circa £60m, delivering projects across the UK. With over 20 years of experience, the business partners with leading housebuilders, local authorities, and main contractors, and has built a strong reputation as an award-winning organisation within the utilities sector.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit two Assistant Quantity Surveyors to join their commercial team.
The Role
* Supporting senior members of the team, you’ll gain hands-on exposure across a range of live projects. This is a role where you’ll be trusted, involved, and given real responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with cost reporting and project forecasting
* Supporting subcontract procurement and administration
* Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Cost Value Reconcilliations
Requirements
* 18 months+ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
* JCT or NEC knowledge is beneficial but not essential
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Positive, team-focused attitude
