An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a £60m new build commercial development based in the Wirral.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with approximately 2+ years post-graduate experience who is looking to further develop their career within a well-established contractor offering long-term progression and exposure to major projects.

The Role

You will initially be based on a £60m commercial new build scheme in the Wirral, supporting the commercial team in delivering the project successfully from a cost and contractual perspective.

Duties will include:

Assisting with cost management and commercial reporting
Supporting subcontractor procurement and administration
Managing variations and valuations
Assisting with interim applications and final accounts
Liaising with site teams and subcontractors
Supporting cost control and forecastingAbout You

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
Around 2+ years post-graduate experience
Experience within commercial build, fit-out, or civils projects considered
Strong commercial awareness and willingness to learn
Able to commute to the Wirral
