Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to be working with a respected and growing residential developer based in Bromley, who is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team.

Our client delivers high-quality residential developments across **London and the South East , and this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a range of live housing projects while developing your career within residential construction.

The Role: As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with senior commercial staff and project teams, assisting with the financial and contractual management of residential developments.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with cost control and budget management across residential projects
Supporting the preparation of valuations and cost reports
Assisting with subcontractor procurement and administration
Helping manage variations and change control
Supporting final accounts and project close-out
Liaising with site teams and subcontractors
The Ideal Candidate Some experience within Quantity Surveying in residential construction or development
Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability
Good organisational and communication skills
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to travel to sites across London and the South East
What's on Offer Salary between £30,000 – £40,000 , depending on experience
