Assistant Contracts Surveyor | Hackney, London £35,000- £40,000 + Benefits Role Summary: Support the Contracts Surveyor in efficiently managing surveying functions on allocated projects, ensuring cost control, risk management, and maximising profit. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with Estimating, Purchasing, and Project teams to procure sub-contract packages and advise on market intelligence. Review and analyse contract documents, including BREEAM and Section 106 clauses; conduct feasibility and risk assessments. Assist in selecting and managing subcontractors, preparing payments, valuations, and cost appraisals. Support site management with variations, day works, cost control, and architect instructions. Maintain accurate project records on Gateway, ensuring traceability and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for future work.
