The Role:

We're looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has positive people skills combined with practical tendering expertise. This isn't your typical estimating/QS role - you'll be part of our ambitious and successful team, delivering high end specialist finishes across central London and helping to double our annual revenue as part of our growth plan.

Our ideal scenario is for the right candidate to join the business, grow with us over time and ultimately become a senior QS in years to come.

You will be involved with:

Estimating

1. Completing a detailed take off from drawings & written specifications
2. Compiling accurate pricing schedules
3. Reading and understanding the complete tender package

Procurement

1. Preparation of detailed scope of works and marked up drawings
2. Working with sub contractors and material suppliers for prices and specifications
3. Analysing and comparing costs, risks and contractual obligations

Project QS Function

1. Assist with financial reporting, variations and payment applications
2. Assist with project delivery, attend meetings and contract administration
3. Play an active role in reducing costs and improving margins
