We're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Norwich 

Location: Norwich - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent, full time - some flexibility on hours if required, just let us know 

In this role, you will be working on our Anglian Water IMRDS alliance (integrated maintenance, repair & development services). The team maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers. 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team on the planned works side of the water network. You will support on all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.

Your day to day will include:

• Work within the project teams liaising with the partner commercial leads, project engineers, procurement coordinators, planners, site team leaders & site managers
• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial management for an allocated programme area of an embedded alliance contract
• Assist with the control of costs, maximise value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety 

What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you hold:

• Experience of NEC3 framework 
• Excellent commercial awareness
• An understanding of budgeting, cost control, risk mitigation and business targets and reporting requirements 
• Full driving licence
