Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Liverpool\n\nSalary: £35,000 – £45,000 + package\nDeveloper / Contractor – Residential & Mixed-Use Projects\n\nWe are partnering with a leading Liverpool-based developer/contractor who are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a genuine family feel, a brilliant culture, and a clear pathway for long-term progression.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will work closely with Senior QSs and Commercial Managers across a range of pre-construction and live projects, gaining hands-on experience across the full commercial lifecycle. The company has a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming developments, giving you exposure to residential, mixed-use and regeneration schemes throughout the North West.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * \n\n Assisting with cost management, measurements, and valuations\n\n * \n\n Supporting subcontract procurement and commercial administration\n\n * \n\n Preparing cost reports, budgets, and forecasts\n\n * \n\n Working with the site and design teams to monitor project progress\n\n * \n\n Assisting senior commercial staff with pre-construction documentation and tender activity\n\n * \n\n Ensuring accurate record-keeping and commercial compliance\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Experience as a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor (contractor or developer background)\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of construction processes and commercial principles\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and organisation skills\n\n * \n\n Keen to learn, progress, and take on greater responsibility\n\n * \n\n Degree in Quantity Surveying or working toward it (preferred)\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Supportive, family-orientated culture with genuine progression routes\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to develop into a Project QS role\n\n * \n\n Strong pipeline of long-term, high-quality projects\n\n * \n\n Professional development and RICS support\n\nIf you are intersted in this role please apply now
