About the Role

As a QS Assistant, you'll support our senior surveyors across a variety of construction projects, contributing to cost management, procurement, valuations, and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience and grow within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with cost estimates, take-offs, and measurement of works.

Preparing and reviewing subcontractor payments and valuations.

Supporting the preparation of tenders, contracts, and variations.

Maintaining accurate project records and cost reports.

Liaising with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Assisting with final account preparation and close-out.

What We're Looking For

2–3 years of QS experience in the UK construction industry

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)

Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills

Familiarity with standard methods of measurement (NRM / SMM7)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive, team-oriented attitude
