Assistant Quantity Surveyor - The Role
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support senior team members in delivering full pre- and post-contract services, with exposure to all project stages. The role provides the opportunity to develop key technical skills, take early responsibility, and work directly with clients and contractors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to grow their career in a supportive, fast-paced consultancy environment.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and tender documents Support cost reporting, valuations, and contract administration Contribute to procurement and tender analysis Help administer JCT contracts across multiple live projects Attend client meetings and support risk/change management processes Work closely with senior surveyors and project managers across key schemesAssistant Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements
1-3 years' experience in a consultancy or client-side QS role Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field (RICS-accredited) Exposure to both pre- and post-contract duties Keen to pursue MRICS chartership Confident communicator with a proactive and detail-driven approach Interest in residential and commercial developments in LondonIn Return
