Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Facades & Cladding
Dartford Up to £45,000 package

We are working with a tier one main contractor to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their facades and cladding division based in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing, well-established commercial team delivering complex, high-value projects across London and the South East.

The Role
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of façade and cladding packages from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with senior surveyors and project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with cost control, forecasting, and reporting

Supporting the procurement and management of subcontractors

Preparing valuations, variations, and payment applications

Assisting with interim and final accounts

Working closely with site and design teams to ensure commercial compliance

About You

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be ideal

Experience working with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor (facades/cladding experience advantageous but not essential)

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Ambitious, driven, and keen to progress within a tier one environment

Excellent communication and team-working skills
