We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the smooth operation of our restaurant and inspire our team to deliver exceptional service at every interaction. The Role
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key part in leading the day-to-day running of the restaurant. You will:
Ensure seamless, personalised service for every guest, maintaining Beaverbrooks high standards.
Oversee daily restaurant operations with a strong focus on organisation and attention to detail.
Lead, coach and develop the team from onboarding to ongoing training, menu knowledge, and health & safety compliance.
Support the department in achieving targets across sales, cost control, guest satisfaction, and service delivery.
Maintain accurate and timely payroll and T&A records, including absences and holidays.
Deliver clear daily briefings and ensure effective communication between shifts for smooth operations.
The Person
You are an inspiring, guest-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will bring:
Experience leading and motivating a restaurant or hospitality team to deliver exceptional standards.
Strong training capabilities and confidence in developing others in product knowledge and service skills.
Excellent communication skills and impeccable personal presentation.
A good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and P&L management.
Experience within a luxury or 5-star environment LQA experience is a distinct advantage.
Shift Pattern:
This position will consist of 45 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7.
The typical shift times for this position will consist of: 06:45-17:00, 11:30-22:00, 11:30-01:00 or 15:00-01:00, with some variation dependent upon business needs.
Salary: U p to £31,572 per annum plus tronc
