ABOUT THE ROLE In the role of Assistant Security / Safety Manager, your key focus will be to: carry out / ensure investigations are completed (relating to security, loss prevention, safety, criminal and civil matters) be involved in reporting and investigation of health and food safety related incidents, and recommendation and monitoring of matters arising from these deliver training sessions to hotel colleagues relating to security, health and safety, food hygiene and environmental issues, or as reasonably required manage the team, e.g., provide timely feedback, appraisals, performance management, recruitment activities, roster, updating of the time and attendance system, coaching, support and mentoring ensure effective control of the issuing of staff lockers and locker keys, and maintenance of updated logs. liaise with police, security organisations and institutes and security managers of other hotels and neighbouring businesses to ensure that employees in the hotel are fully aware of the security issues that affect them and the guests and maintain vigilance.
