Assistant Site Manager - Facade

We Build Recruitment are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Assistant Site Manager with a strong background in facade construction to support the management of high-rise residential projects in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in managing facades and a focus on ensuring safety, quality, and efficient delivery of high-rise projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support Project Management: Assist in the day-to-day management of facade projects, including monitoring the progress of work, ensuring quality standards, and managing site resources.

* Team Coordination: Work closely with the Site Manager to coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the site adheres to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Support in maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.

* Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project progression and to address any concerns or issues that arise.

* Site Inspections & Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is completed to the required standards and project specifications.

* Reporting & Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, safety checks, and progress updates.

* Problem Solving: Support the Site Manager in resolving any on-site issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a facade role, with a proven track record in similar positions.

* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

* CSCS Gold or Black Card (or equivalent) demonstrating appropriate experience in site management.

* Previous experience in a very similar role within the facade sector, including working on high-rise residential projects.

* Strong knowledge of facade systems such as glazing, cladding, and other facade-related systems, including their installation and quality standards.

Desirable Skills:

* High-Rise Residential Experience: Previous involvement in managing or assisting with high-rise residential projects, with an understanding of the unique challenges and safety considerations associated with tall buildings.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate a team effectively.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address challenges proactively and efficiently
