Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established and highly respected housing contractor in the Leeds area. This is a long-term, freelance opportunity working on a busy and ongoing kitchens and bathrooms programme within the social housing sector.\n\n You’ll be joining a supportive team environment with consistent workflow, offering stability and continuity on a long-term basis.\n\n We are keen to speak with Assistant Site Managers, Site Supervisors, or individuals in similar roles with relevant experience.\n\nThe key responsibilities as the Assistant Site Manager are:\n\nSupporting the Site Manager in the delivery of planned refurbishment works, specifically kitchens and bathrooms\nAssisting in managing day-to-day site operations to ensure projects run safely, on time, and to quality standards\nCoordinating trades, subcontractors, and materials on site\nMonitoring health & safety compliance and ensuring site regulations are adhered to\nLiaising with tenants, client representatives, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships\nSupporting progress reporting and resolving on-site issues as they ariseWe are looking for a Assistant Site Manager who has: \n\nProven experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar role within social housing\nStrong background in kitchens and bathrooms refurbishment programmes\nExperience working in occupied properties\nGood understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines\nRelevant construction qualifications (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid )\nTrade background (e.g., City & Guilds) beneficialIn return, the Assistant Site Manager will receive: \n\nWeekly pay (CIS payments available) \nFuel allowance or company vehicle \nLong-term freelance opportunity with consistent work\nCompetitive day rate \nOpportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a secured programme\nSupportive team and well-structured projectsLocation & Travel:\nThis role requires travel in and around Leeds and the surrounding areas. \n\n If you’re interested in this Assistant Site Manager role, please apply online or call Alex on (phone number removed)
