Assistant Site Manager\nLocation: Exeter\nSalary: £45,000 + Car Allowance + 10% Bonus\nOverview\nWe’re supporting a well-established housebuilder to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for a major residential development in Exeter. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience delivering high-quality new build homes and enjoys working in a fast-paced, organised environment.\nYou’ll support the Site Manager with daily operations, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to excellent quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Support day-to-day site operations and supervise subcontractors.\n * Complete weekly planning to help achieve build programme deadlines.\n * Ensure materials and resources are available in line with build requirements.\n * Ensure all operatives comply with H&S regulations and company procedures.\n * Maintain site environmental standards and compliance.\n * Inspect works at all build stages, ensuring compliance with NHBC and building regs.\n * Attend and coordinate NHBC and Local Authority inspections.\n * Produce snag lists and ensure plots are defect-free ahead of completion.\n * Work closely with the Sales team on customer choices, variations and queries.\n * Assist with Home Quality Inspections (HQIs) and ensure homes are ready for legal completion.\n * Support customer care post-handover as required.\n * Maintain excellent site presentation standards.\n * Ensure subcontractors follow waste segregation and environmental procedures.\nExperience & Requirements:\n * Previous experience delivering new build housing with a housebuilder.\n * Trade background ().\n * NVQ Level 4 in Residential Construction Site Supervision (or working towards).\n * Strong knowledge of NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.\n * CSCS card (Manager/Supervisor level), First Aid at Work and SMSTS.\nOn offer:\n * Salary up to £45,000\n * Car package\n * Retail discounts\n * Life insurance\n * Private healthcare\n * Quality pension scheme\nOur Commitment to \nAs a recruitment agency, we are committed to promoting inclusive opportunities on behalf of our clients.
