This will be working on 2,3,4 bed homes.This top 10 house builder is looking for an Assistant Site Manager who is looking to progress their career internally.The Role:As the Assistant Site Manager, you will report to and support the number 1 Site Manager to effectively motivate, support and manage the site-based team to ensure that the required health, safety and environmental performance standards are achieved. You will contribute to the efficient and safe management of the building site and help maintain all necessary records and documents throughout every stage of the development.You will be responsible for:Coordinating the workforce, including Sub contractors and agency staff to meet milestonesEnsuring that material supplies are available and in stockEnsuring that quality standards and construction programmes are metManaging and maintaining strong relationships with the subcontractor network on siteMonitoring Health and Safety on siteSite inductionsMentoring and developing any apprentices or trainees on siteLiaising with the design team to maintain good working relationshipsAssist with maintaining production in line with build programme and quality best practiceEnsure the site team deliver excellent customer service through the customer journeyPlan and manage site order to ensure site waste is reducedEnsure that the site is secure at the end of each day & complete forklift checklist weeklySkills & ExperienceMust have previous experience working for a residential house builder at Assistant Site Manager levelMust have up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislationAbility to manage change and use their own initiativeExcellent organisational skills with the ability to handle complex situations and motivate othersAppropriate CSCS card, valid SMSTS, First Aid certificateBenefitsOngoing workThe opportunity of working with one of the top ten house building Contractors.If you are interested in this Assistant Site Manager position, please forward your CV to JBRP1_UKTJ
