Principal Contractor, a leading name in the super-prime sector, is looking for an assistant site manager to join the team on a super-prime residential project in the Holland Park area.

The project itself is north of £10m, the contractor has been on site for over 2yrs and started the fit-out 6 months ago. There has been a lot of structural work and a new basement added already.

The Assistant Site Manager would support the management team – a Project Manager and Site Manager – and would be expected to be their extra pair of hands on site. Aka ‘boots on the ground’ – keeping an eye on quality control, quality control, making sure sub-contractors are behaving and doing what they should be doing. They would also most probably help with driving the fit-out of the basement. Worth noting, this is not a hands-on / working foreman role - more of a supervisory / management positiion.

This job is super-prime; 4-floors + a basement, expensive marble, joinery, swimming pool – the full monty.

Trade background (be useful)
Super-prime residential experience at either site supervisor or assistant site manager level (essential)
Proactive, good eye for detail, knowledgeable on quality control and H&S
Do it once, do it right attitude
