Assistant Site Manager - Residential Project (2‑Week Cover)

Location: Salisbury Start Date: ASAP Duration: 2 weeks Rate: Competitive (paid weekly)

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to provide short‑term cover on a busy residential development in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident running day‑to‑day site operations and supporting the Site Manager to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Site Manager with daily site coordination and supervision Oversee trades and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to spec Conduct site inductions and ensure all health & safety procedures are followed Maintain site records, diaries, and progress reports Assist with quality checks and snagging Ensure the site remains clean, organised, and compliant at all times

Requirements

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on residential projects Strong health & safety knowledge (SMSTS/SSSTS essential) CSCS Card (essential) First Aid at Work (essential) Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site standards Reliable, proactive, and able to hit the ground running
