We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team.Responsibilities:Responsible for making sure the store operates smoothly at all times including ensuring full availability of stock, appropriate staff cover, store is clean and presented beautifully inside and out, quality checks are carried out, all maintenance issues are dealt with swiftly.Responsible for generating maximum sales and minimizing wastage.Responsible for delivery of sales, gross margin and labour % targets.Responsible for ensuring the team is delivering outstanding customer service.Responsible for ensuring Shift Managers hand over shifts completely and correctly to next Shift Manager.Responsible for making sure POS and labels are complete and in the correct place.Responsible for training, developing and managing the team.Responsible for ensuring that the store is compliant with all relevant Health and Safety regulations and Company policy to include Food Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety, COSHH, HACCP, Manual handling.Responsible for ensuring that all areas of the business are clean, safe, organised, and compliant with current legislation and relevant company policy.About You:Financial skills and the ability to calculate profit and expenditureOrganisational skillsTime management and prioritisation skillsDelegation and staff management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA confident and calm approach to dealing with customers and staffCommercial awareness and industry knowledgeExcellent customer serviceWhat we can offer:28 days' holiday per yearPension Scheme40% staff discount in our storesLength of service recognitionAn amazing opportunity to grow and develop #J-18808-Ljbffr
