Assistant Store Manager Location: Tommy Hilfiger – Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London. About the role Our stores are the lifeblood of our business. As Assistant Store Manager you will lead the team to achieve sales, profit and an outstanding customer experience. Lead the store team to generate sales, profit and minimise losses while creating the best possible customer experience. Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration. Maintain corporate visual merchandising guidelines and standards. Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication. Partner with store management to build business opportunities and meet company objectives. Focus staff on building quality relationships with internal and external customers. Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs and evaluate product performance, pricing, service and inventory levels. Communicate driver insights to the Store Manager and discuss sales priorities to develop strategies. Analyze store‑level reports and create action plans to improve results. Assist in manpower planning, recruitment, interview and hiring of store personnel. Build bench strength for key positions and plan for successors. Participate in weekly management and staff meetings. Communicate sales goals and performance expectations to staff and provide guidance. Ensure a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery‑shop results.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand. Experience in people management and conflict resolution. Effective communicator with ability to cultivate belonging. Collaborative mindset and recognition of others’ contributions. Courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive change. Adaptability and fast‑pace handling. Energetic presence on the shop floor that inspires trust. Can‑do attitude and ability to make informed in‑store decisions.
