About the Role As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager and lead a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment. Your focus will be on people leadership, performance management, and operational excellence – with clear progression opportunities into Store Management. Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of a department and act as Duty Manager when required. Support the Store Manager in delivering KPIs: sales, shrinkage, and wage control. Drive exceptional customer service and team engagement. Oversee stock control, merchandising, and compliance standards. Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed. Analyse store data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as an Assistant Manager (or similar level) in a fast‑paced retail environment. A hands‑on leader who thrives on the shop floor and motivates others. Strong organisational and communication skills. Passionate about customer service and hitting targets. Proactive and eager to develop into a future Store Manager.
