Assistant Transport Manager

This is allowing us to build an expanding client base and expand our fleet and personnel. As such they are looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Transport Manager to support the Transport Manager in overseeing daily fleet operations, compliance, and driver management. This role is critical in ensuring smooth logistics, regulatory adherence, and cost-effective transport services. This is an ideal position for either a recently qualified CPC holder or a route to gain this qualification.

The Key Responsibilities Monitor vehicle maintenance, defect reporting, MOTs, PMI planning, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Supervise drivers regarding compliance, track working hours, monitor infringements, and promote safe driving practices.
