Position:

This is a unique senior level opportunity to join a boutique firm of architects and interior designers to oversee a variety of bespoke one off schemes primarily across luxury commercial, wellness and hospitality, both new build and refurbishment. Supported by an associate director, you will be given a lot of responsibility to take a the lead on your own projects, overseeing teams, liaising directly with high profile client, consultant and contractor teams, and coordinating information across all RIBA stages whilst taking an active part in a wider leadership role within their dynamic team.


Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a qualified architect with significant experience overseeing teams on projects through all stages. Experience working on luxury high quality UK commercial and/or hospitality projects is essential, as well as both building facade and fit out, as this firm seamlessly knit together external fabrics and interiors. Your portfolio will demonstrate strong design skills, an appreciation of context, materiality and craft, coupled with a solid understanding of bespoke technical solutions and construction. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to articulate your own ideas and convictions both verbally and through drawing and be able to confidently lead on client and consultant coordination. Revit is essential.

Founded nearing 15 years ago, this studio have an enviable reputation transforming some of the most prime properties and estates for ultra high profile discerning private and developer clients in the city of London. Operating in their own realm at the top of the market, their portfolio spans luxury residential, hospitality, commercial mixed use and luxury healthcare often in existing and listed buildings and they are experts in working within highly contested and constrained sites. Building out all of their work and on traditional contracts, the ambition, craft and quality of their work is unmatched, meaning that the designers are able to not only realise unique buildings but also have control and ownership of their own projects and ultimately, their careers. Their stable team of 25 work out of a spacious and bright converted office in the heart of London and they have excellent pay structures, a strong social side including outings, trips abroad and CPD's, and work from home Fridays.
