Associate – Contentious Trusts & Private Wealth Disputes (NQ–4 PQE)

Harkaye Core Talent is currently working with a highly regarded private wealth disputes team that continues to see a steady increase in high-quality instructions, particularly across complex and cross-border matters.

As a result, the team is looking to hire two associates at the junior to mid-level.

The work is focused on contentious trust and estate disputes, often involving ultra-high net worth individuals, international families and trustees. Many of the matters have a cross-border element and require careful handling of sophisticated asset structures, alongside related tax considerations.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term specialism in private wealth disputes. The team offers early exposure to meaningful work, a collaborative environment, and the chance to work closely with experienced practitioners in this space.

You will be involved in all stages of matters — from legal analysis and drafting, through to supporting strategy and preparing for trial — with the level of responsibility increasing as you develop.

The team is looking for an England & Wales qualified lawyer (NQ–4 PQE) with a solid grounding in disputes work, strong technical ability, and a genuine interest in this area. Attention to detail, clear drafting and a measured, professional approach are all important.
