Corporate Private Equity Associate (2–4 PQE)

A leading international firm is seeking to hire a Corporate Private Equity Associate into its London team as part of strategic growth.

You will join a market‑leading practice known for:

• Advising major private equity sponsors, financial investors and portfolio companies on complex, high‑value transactions
• Acting on sophisticated cross‑border acquisitions, disposals, carve‑outs and joint ventures
• Providing commercially grounded, sector‑aware advice directly to deal teams and senior stakeholders
• Working seamlessly with colleagues across Corporate, Funds, Finance and Tax on premium mandates
• Offering associates early responsibility, direct client exposure, and opportunities for secondments and global mobility

This is a team operating at the top end of the private equity market, handling strategically significant matters where precision, judgement and commercial awareness are paramount.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of high‑value private equity matters, including:

• Buyouts, minority investments, bolt‑ons and portfolio company work
• Cross‑border M&A and complex multi‑jurisdictional structuring
• Execution support on transactions for major PE sponsors and financial investors
• Ongoing corporate advisory work for portfolio leadership teams
• Business development, client relationship building and contributing to the growth of the practice

About You

• UK‑qualified solicitor (2–4 PQE) with strong academic credentials
• Experience gained from a well‑regarded corporate or private equity practice
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Commercial, proactive and comfortable with client contact from an early stage
• Strong team player with high professional standards and a desire to develop
• Confident operating in a fast‑paced, international transactional environment
