About the role:
The Associate Director (GAD) oversees and directs our client teams, ensuring day-to-day processes and quality outputs are maintained. You will manage relationships with clients to foster satisfaction and retention, while also identifying opportunities for account growth.
This role combines internal team management—developing individuals and teams—and external client management—building Coolr’s relationships and reputation.
The job
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring all client account activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Supporting Account Directors with tools and information for success.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Ensuring thorough and accurate monthly and quarterly reports.
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior clients.
- Identifying growth opportunities.
- Managing resource allocation and budgets.
- Participating in new business pitches.
What we are looking for
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in a senior leadership role within a social-first agency (Group Account Director or above).
- Commercial acumen, with a track record of managing profitability and growth.
- Strong strategic skills in account planning, branding, and storytelling.
- Industry knowledge and awareness of current trends.
- Approachability and mentorship capabilities.
- Ability to build transparent relationships with clients and partners.
- Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- A passion for quality and adaptability to business needs.
