We are currently supporting a Private Equity-backed Pharmaceutical on an Associate Director, M&A hire as they look to expand their portfolio through in-organic growth.

In this role you will be joining an established and high-performing team. Therefore, it is essential you are able to demonstrate examples working part of a Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical M&A function.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify and evaluate marketed and pre-commercial stage targets
• Sizing in-licensing and acquisition opportunities as well as lifecycle opportunities using public domain databases, epidemiology, reviewing published clinical literature, analyzing pricing information and performing competitive landscape analysis
• Support both Commercial and Financial Due Diligence activities through independent work and broader project management of other advisors
• Build and analyse complex financial models and evaluations
• Maintaining the M&A pipeline

Experience Required:

• 5+ years experience in M&A, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance within the Pharmaceutical/ Life Sciences industry
• Financial modelling and evaluation expertise
• Excellent business acumen with the ability to asses the strategic impact of transactions
• Exceptional communication skills
• Pan-European transactions experience is a strong preference
• Degree in a Life Sciences discipline
