\nThe role:\n\n

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lanpro and support our Regional Director of Planning to support growth in London. We are looking for a commercially focused candidate with London experience who is client facing but has the technical abilities to account manage key projects at a senior level with the wider multidisciplinary team.

\n

We are in excess of an 80 strong team nationwide and equipped to deliver projects at any scale. The Associate Director will be tasked to build out and generate opportunities across all our sectors (including Residential, Commercial and Assets and Estates) and generate opportunities with new and existing clients.

\n\n\n

\nThe position will involve:\n\n

\n Taking the lead on Lanpro client centric agenda for the role holders area of the skillset (planning), both internally and externally.

\n

Having strong client liaison and relationship building skills to generate new opportunities, whilst optimising existing relationships to seek further work from prior excellent project outcomes.

\n

Strong networking skills and business development and the ability to build contacts across the industry and with key contacts in local planning authorities.

\n

Identifying targets, establishing and consolidating new and existing clients and colleagues.

\n

Leading on winning presentations and to produce final reports and presentations for tenders and clients.

\n

Using technical knowledge to identify and realise client opportunities through both tried and tested and innovative methods.

\n

Responsibility for negotiating major contracts with customers/clients and or suppliers/contractors including managing legal and contractual aspects.

\n

Effectively manages significant and complex projects to a high standard.

\n

Takes a key role in projects within relevant specialised field and provides technical leadership.

\n

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in working in a London planning consultancy (essential)
