The Opportunity
The MEAD Group is a white-glove strategic marketing, events and design consultancy. We work with senior audiences across geopolitics, finance and industry - delivering high-stakes conferences, private roundtables, stakeholder programmes and senior briefings where execution must be precise, calm and professional.
Teams turn to us at important and time-sensitive moments – our MO is premium output, consistent delivery, and no drama.
We are now hiring an Associate Project Manager to become a key part of how we deliver. This is a high-trust role with real responsibility. You will work directly with the Founder, own workstreams, manage timelines and gain meaningful exposure to senior clients from day one.
The Role
You will support end-to-end delivery across conferences, private events and associated marketing programmes. Think of this as the operational right hand to the Founder – someone who can pick up a workstream, run it without heavy oversight, and bring the same level of care to every detail that our clients expect.
You will learn quickly. You will get client exposure early. And you will have genuine ownership with all the pressures that come with such responsibilities.
Experience We Are Looking For
Essential -
2+ years in events, marketing operations, conference production or project coordination Excellent written communication – clear, professional, client-facing Strong project coordination and deadline management Experience with senior stakeholders and external suppliers Professionalism, discretion and sharp attention to detail
Desirable -
Event registration platforms (Swoogo, Cvent, Eventbrite) CRM or email tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Dynamics, Eloqua) Experience with prominent speakers or multi-track conferences Strong Microsoft Office / Google Workspace’s capability Good design sensibility – confident briefing designers and reviewing assets Interest in current affairs, geopolitics and senior business events
