Associate / Senior Quantity Surveyor\n\nLocation: Exeter\nSector: Construction Consultancy\nSalary: Up to £75,000 + Excellent Package\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nAn outstanding opportunity to join a leading construction consultancy in Exeter, offering genuine progression to Associate level and beyond. This role is ideal for a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate-level professional looking to take greater ownership of client relationships, project delivery and team leadership.\n\nYou’ll work across a diverse portfolio of projects while contributing to business growth, mentoring junior staff and shaping commercial outcomes for high-profile clients.\n\nRole Overview\n\nYou will be responsible for:\n\n * \n\n Delivering full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.\n\n * \n\n Managing projects from inception through to final account.\n\n * \n\n Cost planning, procurement advice and contract administration.\n\n * \n\n Preparing reports, budgets, forecasts and commercial strategies.\n\n * \n\n Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.\n\n * \n\n Supporting and mentoring junior QS team members.\n\n * \n\n Contributing to business development and repeat client work.\n\nAbout You\n\n * \n\n Strong experience in consultancy / client-side quantity surveying.\n\n * \n\n MRICS qualified or working toward chartership.\n\n * \n\n Confident managing projects independently and leading client meetings.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contract forms.\n\n * \n\n Commercially astute with excellent communication skills.\n\n * \n\n Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress to Associate level.\n\nCompany Profile\n\nThis consultancy is known for its collaborative culture, high staff retention and strong pipeline of public and private sector work.
