An established property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Quantity Surveyor to their London office. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading the delivery of quantity surveying services across a broad range of schemes. This Associate Quantity Surveyor opportunity will involve managing client accounts, overseeing project teams and maintaining high standards of commercial management. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will also support the ongoing development of the quantity surveying team and contribute to the growth of the London office.
The Company? The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will join an independent consultancy operating across the capital and wider UK market. They provide cost management and quantity surveying services on residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will work alongside Directors and senior professionals, playing a key role in both project delivery and team leadership.
The Role As the Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee projects from initial feasibility through to completion, providing clear commercial direction and ensuring effective cost control.
The role will include: Preparing and reviewing cost plans and budgets Leading procurement and managing tender processes Administering contracts and providing commercial advice Overseeing valuations, variations and final accounts Managing and developing junior quantity surveyors Maintaining and building client relationships
The Associate Quantity Surveyor? The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be confident in a client-facing role and capable of leading multiple projects and teams.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor must have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline MRICS accreditation A strong track record as a Quantity Surveyor within a UK consultancy environment Experience delivering projects across London Sound knowledge of JCT and other standard forms of contract
