Associate / Senior Associate - Digital & Technology Retained Executive Search

New Today

Job Description

Maiden Marc Advisory is partnering with a market-leading boutique executive search firm to support the growth of its London team. Operating for over 20 years, they work on a retained basis with some of the biggest names in Venture Capital and Private Equity as well as high-growth corporates across EMEA and North America.

Having built a strong reputation for delivering high-impact, senior search work, the business has a clear drive to build on its modern, low-ego and highly collaborative internal team environment.

Following a strong start to 2026, they are looking to hire at the Associate and Senior Associate levels across a number of their functionally focused teams, including Product, Tech & AI, Digital & Data, General Management, and Board.

It’s a particularly interesting time to join at this level, as the firm is actively investing in its Associate team to develop these profiles into future business leaders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building long lists and mapping markets across sector/functionally specific landscapes
  • Identifying, engaging and assessing senior candidates for retained projects
  • Conducting detailed competitor analysis and market intelligence
  • Supporting the execution of retained search mandates end-to-end
  • Contributing to pitch preparation and research-led client work
  • Building long-term relationships with candidates in the market

Over time, there is a clear progression towards greater ownership of mandates, increased exposure to clients, and a development path to revenue generation with a strong historical success rate.

The role would suit someone with prior executive search experience who enjoys the research and delivery side, but is also looking to develop towards a more client-facing position or someone with strong contingent delivery skills looking to transition into the search world.

The typical profile includes:

  • At least c.1 year of experience within executive search or high-growth tech-focused recruitment
  • Structured, detail-oriented and analytical way of working
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Genuine interest in the digital, data, technology and high-growth space (direct experience not essential)
  • Ambition to build a long-term career in executive search

Compensation typically ranges from £35,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, alongside a discretionary performance-based bonus, and they offer a 3/2 hybrid working split.

Overall, this is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to join a high-quality search environment, but at a stage of growth within the firm where you can still have a real impact on the team and its future direction.
