The Opportunity

The Head of Residential Property Partner is seeking a talented and driven Real Estate (Residential Property) Associate to join and strengthen the firm’s expanding Cambridge practice. With a substantial pipeline of high-quality work and deep local market connections, the Partner now needs an Associate who can:


  • Bridge the gap between senior leadership and junior associates in the Cambridge office
  • Support in building and scaling a fast-growing regional practice
  • Be introduced to a powerful Cambridge network of clients and referrers
  • Take an active role in business development (BD) and market visibility
  • ⏱️ Help free up Partner capacity, enabling further growth

Role & Responsibilities

You will play a key role in shaping the firm’s Cambridge market presence, including:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of high-value residential property transactions
  • Supporting senior leadership and junior associates on complex matters
  • Acting as a core contact for Cambridge-based clients and introducers
  • Driving BD initiatives and relationship-building activity
  • Attending events, networking engagements, and market-facing initiatives
  • Building your personal profile to become a known specialist in Cambridge


What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • ✔️ 4+ years PQE in residential property law
  • Strong experience handling high-value property transactions
  • ⚙️ Excellent technical ability (experience in prime/super-prime advantageous)
  • ⚡ Energy, ambition, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • A desire to be active in the market and build a reputation in Cambridge
  • A collaborative approach to BD and practice growth
