Our client is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to play a key leadership role in their London office. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of complex projects while shaping teams, strengthening client relationships, and influencing the direction of a growing structural engineering function.
The role spans both new-build and refurbishment schemes across sectors such as commercial, residential, public, and healthcare. You will lead projects from early concept through to delivery, acting as a trusted technical authority and primary client contact, while ensuring high-quality design, programme control, and commercial performance. Alongside project delivery, you will mentor engineers, contribute to winning new work, and represent the business externally.
Applicants should hold a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and be chartered with IStructE or ICE. A strong background in leading multidisciplinary teams, producing high-quality technical documentation, and working within BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 frameworks is essential. Clear communication, sound judgement, and confidence in client-facing environments are critical for success in this role. Excellent benefits including allowing to work from home three days a week.
