On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for an Assurance Project Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12‑month contract based in Corsham (3 days per week on site). The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is a central government department with the mission to protect our country and provide the ultimate guarantee of its security and independence. Location: Corsham, UK (role must be performed within the UK and cannot be carried out overseas). SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role. You must be willing and eligible to undergo checks; active security clearance may be preferred. Key Responsibilities

Manages and leads the project(s) and collaborates with the MOD and prime Contractor teams on a day‑to‑day basis. Sets project controls, assures the design and the project structure suitable for each stage, and selects appropriate delivery methodologies. Identifies key stakeholders and develops effective relationships. Manages risk and issues, develops mitigating actions, and escalates as needed. Supports or establishes appropriate project assurance measures.

Essential Requirements

Extensive experience in project management. Experience managing large‑scale projects. Ability to hit the ground running. Experience in Assurance. APM qualification or equivalent.

Desirable Requirements

MOD experience. Some technical/engineering knowledge ideally in SATCOM.
