About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation within the automotive accident repair and bodyshop sector, is looking to recruit an experienced ATA Paint Technician / Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join their busy workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or experienced automotive paint technician / bodyshop painter / vehicle refinisher who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

You will be working in a fast-paced bodyshop environment, carrying out full vehicle refinishing, paint preparation, and cosmetic paint repairs across a wide range of vehicles.

With consistent workload and uncapped bonus potential, this is a great opportunity for an experienced ATA accredited paint technician or someone working towards ATA accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out vehicle paint spraying and refinishing to manufacturer standards

* Prepare vehicles for paint, including masking, sanding, priming, and surface preparation

* Mix and match paint colours accurately to specification

* Complete smart repairs, refinishing, and cosmetic paintwork where required

* Ensure all work meets ATA and bodyshop quality standards

* Work efficiently within a busy automotive repair workshop

* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the paint area

* Collaborate with panel and MET technicians to ensure smooth workflow

About You

* Experienced Paint Technician / Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Automotive Painter

* Ideally ATA accredited in Vehicle Paint or Refinishing (or working towards ATA status)

* Strong background in vehicle refinishing and accident repair bodyshop work

* Skilled in all aspects of paint preparation and application

* Experience working in a fast-paced bodyshop environment

* High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality finish

* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Paint or Automotive Refinishing (desirable but not essential)
